kind of sentences

kali ini...yg aku bahas masalah jenis2 kalimat....tp seperti biasa cuma yg aq anggap berbobot aja..n menarik buat diperbincangkan...atau didiskusikan....


menurut tingkatannya ada 4 macam sentences :

1. simple sentences ( ya kalimat yg biasa dipergunakan sehari2 gitu... )

contoh :

birds fly in the sky ( burung-burung terbang diatas langit )

udah..simple buangetzzzz kan......

2. compound sentences ( kalimat majemuk )

contoh :

Udin is happy but Budi is sad ( udin sedang gembira tapi budi sedang sedih )

3. complex sentences ( kalimat sempurna )

contoh :

Ridwan who speaks in English well is the best student ( ridwan yang berbicara dalam bahasa inggris dengan baik adalah siswa terbaik )

4. compound - complex sentences ( perpaduan antara no. 2 sama no. 3 )

contoh : ( bakal gila nih contohnya )

i just visited Mr. Nurdin who was taken to the hospital threee days ago and brougt him a bunch of flower which my son bought from a flower shop near my office ( saya beru saja mengunjungi tuan nurdin yang sudah 3 hari lalu dibawa ke rumah sakit dan membawakannya satu ikat bunga yang anakku beli dari toko dekat kantorq ( sumpah..gila banget kan contohnya )

naahh..itu macam2 sentences berdasarkan tingkatannya...

tp ada juga kalimat yg menarik perhatian aq....misal

- Imperative Sentences ( Kalimat Perintah )

contoh :

Please, open the door ! ( tolong buka pintunya ! )


- Exclamatory Sentences ( kalimat seruan )

contoh :

* untuk uncountable noun / plural

what beautiful hair ( she has )

what diligent students ( they are )


* untuk single noun

what a beautiful flower ( it is )

how wonderful ( you are )

NB : yg dikurung itu boleh diikutsertakan, tidak disertakan juga g papa

ooh..ya..pasti ada yg bingung..kapan ya untuk Exclamatory Sentences harus pake what atau how...ini nih perbedaan kapan harus pake what n kapan harus pake how


* what harus dikaitkan dengan noun phrase

* how harus dikaitkan dengan adjective phrase


nah..bagi yg masih bingung sm yg dinamakan noun / adjectie phrase itu aq kasih contoh deh

contoh :

1. My coach
2. the cars over there
3. The woman who lives there
4. my favorite cat
5. her father
6. My friend
7. dll

* adjective phrase

contoh :

1. beautiful and clever
2. We picked up the records broken in the scuffle

3. We saw Peter dashing across the quadrangle
